Stratton Fan Mirror and Lipstick Holder

A super 1950's Stratton, England lipstick holder with mirror in the shape of a fan.  The pretty floral front cover is hand painted and has a green background with gold and red flowers and foliage and this slides to the side to reveal the mirror.  The back holds a lipstick.  The lipstick is Coty 24 Magnet Red is still present (although not to be used).  It is marked along the top edge of the mirror 'RD 873269 Made in Stratton England USA Pat 175783'.

The front cover is in really good order with no visible loss to the enamel or hand painting.  The mirror has some light surface scratches from sliding the cover across but this does not impair the use at all.  The body of the lipstick holder shows wear and some tarnishing.  Please look at the pictures for more detail.
