A wonderful 1950's Evans, USA Compact Carryall.  This super carryall has a gold tone body with a two tone square design and a snake link chain.  Inside reveals a compact powder well, the lid of which has the Evans. USA logo, an open compartment and a space for a lipstick.  In the lid there is a full length pull down mirror.  Pulling the mirror gently forward reveals a full length compartment which could hold a handkerchief or dance card. The chain takes the length to 18 cm.

This delightful compact carryall is in excellent condition throughout.  The clasp closes with a firm click.  The chain is in excellent condition.  There are some very light surface scratches to the body of the carryall.
