Art Deco Feather Evening Bag

A fabulous Art Deco hand made in England evening bag in black satin fabric with an eye catching lace panel that sits at the top part of the bag at the front and this is embellished with gold and clear beads and circular gold bead work.  From the beaded panel there is a cascade of ostrich feathers starting with white and graduating down to black feathers which hang from the bottom of the bag.  The back of the bag has a mix of black and white ostrich feathers.  The handle is black satin and the bag is lined in cream silk.  It is fastened at the top by a popper.

The bag is in excellent condition.  The fabric and lining are in excellent condition. The bead work is also in excellent condition with minimal if any bead loss.  There is a small loss of feathers and some of the feathers are brittle.
