A lovely 1950's musical powder compact by Clover. This super compact is Japanese and has a Mother of Pearl top on a lacquered brass body. The compact opens up to reveal a full length mirror and a powder well with the Clover logo stamped on the lid. There is also a cased muscial movement and a winder. It comes with its original sifter and original puff which are both unused. It also comes with its original felt pouch.
It is in great condition with minimal signs of wear. There are two areas of tarnish on the bottom edge at the back which can be seen on the photos. The musical movement does work, you can wind with one turn but the music plays incredibly quickly so it may need attention.
