Super 1930's vintage camera style vanity compact case. This case is European and was produced in the 1930's. It is designed to mirror the look of a camera and comes with multiple compartments. It is colourfully decorated in tooled leather with vibrant red, cream, brown and gold on a gold tone body. It incorporates on one side a powder compact with original puff and sifter and full length mirror. On the other side there is a space for cigarettes, money or a dance card. There is also a lipstick holder. The compact is accessed by a push button on the top of the 'camera'.
This delightful vanity compact case is in excellent condition throughout. There are minimal scratches/scuffs to the gold tone case, the tooled leather is in fantastic condition with no damage. The original sifter and puff are in good order. The mirror is silvered/lightly fogged but still usable. The lipstick case is also in good order and there is some residual powder but no obvious signs that it has been used.
