A stunning 1950's Kigu, England engine turned powder compact.  The lid is heavily decorated with a central circle surrounded by a circle of flowers and the outer corners are also heavily decorated with flowers.  The base of the compact also has an engine turned decoration which is less flambouyant.  The push in button opens the compact to reveal a square mirror in the lid and once again a heavily engine turned lid for the powder well.  This has the Kigu logo sitting prominently in the centre.  The compact has its original sifter.

The compact is in excellent condition with some light surface scratches commensurate with age.  The internal mirror has a minor age related spot but this does not impair its use.  The back of the powder well cover is tarnished with an imprint of a previously used powder puff.  The compact closes with a firm click.  Please look at the photos for more detail.
