A wonderful 19th Century Victorian steel beaded bag. This superb bag is beautifully decorated on one side with pretty pansies in contrasting coloured steel beads in yellow, red, green, pink and purple. It has a cord drawstring closure which is accented on both ends with a silver and gold beaded ball and tassle. It has decorative beadwork to the top of the bag. The edges of the purse are in gold bead work which contrasts with the silver/steel body. It is a beautiful and heavy Victorian bag.
The overall condition is excellent and commensurate with its age. It does have a small hole in the edging (please look at the photos) but this doesn't detract from this unusual bag.
