An absolutely stunning George III Silver and Beadwork Purse.  This beautiful purse has an arched and finely pierced silver mount by Henry Adcock, Birmingham 1808 - this is an early piece of Adcock silversmithing.  The beadwork comes in shade of green, blue, ochre and red beads with a pretty flower, branch and leaf design and is finished with a delicate tassle detail.  The purse opens with a push button to reveal a lambskin lining.  The purse is hallmarked on the top of the silver frame.

This wonderful little purse is in excellent condition for its 200 plus years.  There are a few of the tassles missing and the stitching to the left hand side has come loose.
